The Sandberg Foundation was founded in 1889 because Jonkheer Albertus Sandberg (1810-1889) had decided to do so in his last will. The Foundation became his sole heir and has been located statutorily ever since in Zwolle, The Netherlands.
The unalterable aim of the Foundation has statutorily been laid down as follows:
Only the lawful descendants of Jonkheer Mr. Albertus Sandberg (1768-1843) and Reiniera Schrassert (1770-1814) who, through uninterrupted decent, carry the name Sandberg as well as those widows whose only or last husband qualified as such, are entitled to obtain benefit from the Foundation.
Within the narrow borders and the limited means of the Foundation, the Board will consider requests for personal financial support whenever these requests are remitted correctly and directly by individuals as described above.
Those who think they qualify to the Foundation’s statutory criteria and who wish, at any moment, to be considered to receive assistance, can take up contact with the Secretariat by carefully completing the questionnaire and using the contact button of this website thereafter.
After checking the correctness and completeness of the submitted data the Secretariat will get in touch with you.
